Before lunch, we gathered in the Church to hear the first of our talks from one of our Junior Leaders who spoke about the Gifts of the Holy Spirit and her own experience of them in her life. Afterwards, we celebrated Mass, joined by the St Joseph’s Academy Junior Choir, at which Fr Kevin reminded the young people of God’s generosity and love for them, and encouraged them to open their hearts to Jesus, to be his missionaries in the world.
After Mass, we took our group photo and enjoyed lunch which was kindly prepared by parishioners from St Teresa’s, as well as cakes which had been handed in – we’re extremely grateful to all of the parishioners who helped support the day: cooking, cleaning, and joining us for the celebration of Holy Mass.
