Sponsored Cycle around Millport

We kicked off our fundraising for Galloway’s Seoul yesterday with a Sponsored Cycle around Millport! Over the course of the day, our nine young people and four leaders cycled a full circuit of the island – 10 miles – a fantastic achievement, especially as some had very limited cycling experience! Meanwhile, Fr Kevin completed 57 of his 60 mile target – nearly 6 full circuits of the island!

To celebrate at the end of the day, our young people enjoyed some time exploring Millport: enjoying an icecream and some time at the funfair. Everyone had a fantastic day and really enjoyed it. We can’t wait for the next event soon!

Galloway’s Seoul is a five day residential at Gowanbank (near Darvel) taking place in August 2027. Over the course of the event, young people will follow the events of World Youth Day, enjoy the wide range of activities on offer at Gowanbank, and have lots of time to spend with friends.
