Across our Diocese at Easter we welcomed 43 new Catholics into the Church as they were Confirmed and received their First Communion, with some also receiving Baptism. This is the second year we have seen such high numbers in Galloway, a trend which echoes a similar trend being seen across much of the UK, and indeed the wider Church.
We welcome all of our new faithful into the Church and give thanks to God for their response to his call to them. Across Galloway, we see many signs of hope: the Spirit is truly moving among us.
